Terms of Service
1. Platform Overview
This website (“Platform”) operates as an online venue connecting campaign organizers (“Organizers”) with supporters (“Donors”). The Platform is a technical intermediary and communication venue only. The Platform is not a broker, financial institution, charity, or creditor.
2. User Responsibilities & Conduct
Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and execution of their campaigns. Organizers guarantee that all campaign information is truthful and non-misleading. Prohibited campaigns include, but are not limited to, illegal activities, hate speech, fraudulent schemes, unauthorized financial instruments, or copyright-infringing content. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or remove any campaign or user account at its sole discretion without prior notice.
3. Fees & Payment Processing
Payment processing services are facilitated through Stripe Connect or other third-party payment gateways. By using the Platform, users agree to abide by Stripe’s Terms of Service. The Platform deducts a standard 5% platform fee from funds raised, in addition to applicable third-party payment processing fees.
4. No Guarantee & Limitation of Liability
The Platform does not guarantee that campaigns will achieve their funding goals, that Organizers will use funds as described, or that campaign content is accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform, its owners, and operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform, user fraud, or payment processing errors.
5. Indemnification
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Platform, its LLC, owners, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, losses, or legal expenses arising from their breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
